ÜLKA on the global stage: our experience at Cosmoprof Bologna


Cosmoprof Bologna is a key event in the global beauty industry. This year, the exhibition welcomed over 255,000 visitors and 3,128 brands from 65 countries. It’s the true epicenter of the international beauty movement — and for ÜLKA, it was another opportunity to represent an innovative Ukrainian brand on the world stage.

This marks our third consecutive year at Cosmoprof — and each time, we come not just to be present, but to be seen. To confidently and clearly say: Made in Ukraine means reliability, advanced technology, and original design — not imitation, but innovation.

New exhibition format: challenges and our approach

For the first time in over 50 years, the organizers introduced a new layout, dividing the pavilions into B2B and B2C segments. It’s a bold move that calls for adjustment. While we understand the logic behind it and see its long-term potential, the transition has been mixed so far: navigation became more complex, and in some cases, it was harder for partners to connect. Still, we believe this new format will improve over time.

The ÜLKA stand: an experience to remember

Every year, our booth tells a story. We think through every detail — the look and feel of the space, the experiences we offer visitors, the new products we showcase, and how we let guests truly interact with them. It’s more than just a spot on the map — it’s an experience people remember. And this year, it truly stood out.

We unveiled our latest models — Handy and Nano — designed to combine portability with high performance, exactly what professionals appreciate. The booth featured several zones, each offering a distinct visual and practical experience.
The Ü-lab was a space where guests could test the products in action. We always advocate for live demos — because we believe quality speaks best for itself.

Another area focused on product presentation, where visitors could get a close look at the devices, ask questions, and learn more about the technical features. At the center of it all was our swing photo zone — an eye-catching detail that drew attention and invited people in. It set the tone for the whole booth — a clear visual anchor that boosted recognition and engagement.

What we take with us

Cosmoprof is more than an exhibition. It’s the energy of real conversations, a live community, and meaningful interaction with those shaping the industry. We returned with fresh insights, inspiration, and confidence that we are moving in the right direction.

This experience wasn’t just about sales. It was about being part of the global conversation, supporting Ukrainian manufacturing beyond national borders, and recognizing how vital it is to take part in international dialogue.
This year, there weren’t many Ukrainian companies at Cosmoprof — which made our presence even more meaningful. We were part of a key sector and had the opportunity to show the world what Ukrainian production stands for today.
