Hello, everyone! Forbes has recently shared an inspiring story of our company, ÜLKA, which has grown from a small idea to an international company with an impressive turnover of 90 million hryvnias annually. It is an example of how innovation and a deep understanding of market needs can transform a startup into a successful international project.
We, the founders of ÜLKA, Yulia and Volodymyr Siletsky, found ourselves in the world of nail equipment by accident. It all started when a nail artist asked Volodymyr to make a dust collector that effectively removes dust from gel polish. It was a great idea for one person and the wider market, so we got down to business.
At the beginning of our adventure, we felt like “blind cats,” as we say. To get our bearings in the business space, we took several educational programs from experienced entrepreneurs. Courses on brand building, operational management, and systematic work helped us understand business basics and gradually reach a large level.
By 2024, the company had grown to the extent that it could enter the international market and export its products to 25 countries, including the United States, Canada, Israel, and Europe. Our factory now occupies 800 square meters and produces 4000-5000 units of products per month.
We are not resting on our laurels. We plan to expand production, open a company in Latvia, and develop new innovative products, such as ultraviolet drying lamps. We continue to look for new ways to develop and improve our business, focusing on high quality and innovation.
This Forbes story not only testifies to our business success but also emphasizes the importance of continuous learning and adaptation, which are key to achieving great goals. To read the full article, please visit the original publication on the Forbes website.
